The Studio Location
Tattoos From The Soul resides in a converted Victorian warehouse at 1847 Brushstroke Lane, Oakland, California. The space hums with candlelight, incense, and the quiet gravity of intention. Visitors are greeted by our wall of archived flash — every drawing a memory waiting to be claimed.
Our doors open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to eight. Sundays are reserved for private rituals and large back-piece sittings. Mondays, we rest — the ink must settle, and so must we.

How do I prepare for my first consultation?
Bring references, but more importantly — bring honesty. We'll discuss the story, the placement, and the weight it will carry. No concept is too raw; every narrative deserves a careful translation to skin.
After your consultation, we send a written proposal with sizing, placement, and deposit. Your session is confirmed once the deposit clears. Most pieces book four to ten weeks out depending on complexity.
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcomed for flash pieces and small spontaneous designs on Saturday afternoons. Custom work and large pieces always require a scheduled consultation. Our flash wall rotates monthly.
What are your payment terms?
A non-refundable deposit secures your session. Remaining balance is due the day of your appointment. We accept cash, card, and most digital payment platforms. Payment plans available for multi-session pieces.
How do I care for my new ink?
We provide a printed aftercare scroll with every piece, plus follow-up texts at days three, seven, and fourteen. Healing is a ritual — keep it clean, moisturized, and out of direct sun for two weeks.
